EYES OF CINDER
The Eyes of Cinder began when a warrior sought to break away from rising evil amongst his people in the North. Guided by Visions, he came to a sacred alter of the Goddess, Hela. Hela showed the man a path to power and a goal to bring about peace before the ruthless Ashes of Surtr could bring about Ragnarok. Hela wanted to save her people and the man wanted to bring about peace to his. In agreement, Hela gifted the man a Caracal as a guide on his journey. In thanks, he decreed that all who sought safety and home within the clan that they steal a cub from its nest as a test of secrecy and ability to serve the clan.

By Rite of Passage, members of the Eyes of Cinder were to train and grow their companions and spy with them on missions to bring about peace to the world. As part of the test, members are sent to live in a cave for one month with their feline companions to bond their friendship. Upon return, their would be recognized as a bonded pair and granted freedom over the lands beyond their home.

The Eyes of Cinder make their home in Odinfyre, a place considered to be a safe haven Hela built for those who sought peace across the vast lands of Wolfenfordshire and safety for those who sought to rule the land for themselves. The land is rich and while it is hospitable to the people, if not dangerous for it high predator count, Odinfyre is a good place for farming. The people are able to live off the land and trade at their leisure.

Eyes of Cinder are neutral to the clan of White Crow though they share a growing hatred with Ashes of Surtr as long as they continue to plaque the lands of Wolfenfordshire and threaten the peace of Eyes of Cinder.

ASHES OF SURTR
Formed by a man of greed, heavily influenced by the God of Deception and his son, Fenrir, the Ashes of Surtr is a clan set on bringing about the destruction of the world, known as Ragnarok. Led by a man rumored to be cursed, the clan lays siege on any free people and desire not prisoners but the sure death of any who cross their path. Written on ancient stones, the man enslaved to Loki and Fenrir made a deal with the Gods and promised he would release Surtr in exchange for power over all lands. He rightly names his clan the Ashes of Surtr after the promise to rise the Lord of Destruction upon his siege over all lands stood complete. Only then would the King of his clan grant access to the ancient skull of Surtr himself.

The clan made themselves known for their strong warbands and struck skill in the art of Blacksmithing and Armory. The clan remained well equipped for the art of war, though they kept themselves accustomed to the art of survival as well. Ruthless, the people made their own crafts and stole from other clans to build more sinister tools. On their search for materials, the Ashes of Surtr discovered an ancient cave of gleaming gems and realized soon after, upon wearing the gems on their person, they granted the clan a great power over the elements. Tales tell that other lands also possess these special gems though Ashes of Surtr believe they have the only right to them.

To become a member of the clan, the people found that dire wolves were suited well for battle against their foes. Fenrir had reached out to the king of the clan and deemed it mandatory for the people to face off against a savage dire wolf to prove they are worthy of their friendship. With Fenrirs blessing, a wolf who chooses their human will bow his head in submission as indication that the battle between them is null and a friendship possible. The clan member will hunt with the wolf and tattoo the wolfs paw to their body to seal the bond.

Ashes of Surtr make their home where their warbands are camped; They originated from Islarune. Hardened with the icy lands of Islarune, the people of AoS are strong and stubborn. They make their homes of stone and wood and feed off the animals, often stealing food and riches from neighbors in order to survive. Ashes of Surtr may have been one of the first clans to set sail in order to find food and riches elsewhere during hard times.

COUNCIL OF THE WHITE CROW
Built by those who seek to pleasure themselves in riches and power and condemn those who war against one another for a greater cause, The White Crow rose to power in the midst of a seemingly never-ending war. Originally, men from each clan came together by the call of one man who has not been named. By the power of his hand, he built a Council of thirteen who's purpose stood to their own devices if it benefited their Organization. Absent Gods, The White Crow built belief that a world with or without Gods didn't matter as long as life went on under their rules.

The White Crow enlists new members under the recruitment of each individual Council member. Known as Acolytes, the servants of each Council member served under their masters by completing tasks around the world from assassinations to falsely posing as a member of another clan to seeking other followers to join the Council.

By Rite of Passage, new members of the clan must prove their worth to the Council by their own deeds. An acolyte of a council member usually shares the power of their masters but that isn't always the case. Members of White Crow often bargain for a deed to be done while exchanging something in return that would greatly benefit The White Crow over any other party involved. Members who wish to join are tested in such a way and asked to prove what they can offer to the Council that they deem valuable. Those who aren't worthy may be turned away. The meetings of joining the council are usually done with an Acolyte accompanied by their Master to assess and determine membership eligibility.

The Council of the White Crow makes their home in the Briganot. There they built a city for trade, ruled from the thirteen chairs within a council hall. Stone walls protect the city in which they live and command from. Members of the council will wear a crow crested to their attire unique to the individual but use the symbol of the crow as proof they are part of the council itself.

NOMADS
Nomads belong to no existing faction and live life according to their own deeds and desires. Nomads can ally with members of existing clans or fight against them. While Nomads do not have an organized encampment, so do have camps posted arounds the world of Silverot. Smaller factions may sprout as well, though they are not so significant.

Note: Please be advised that much of our Lore will revolve around the clans themselves. While Nomads may seek a solitary life outside of a clan, they will not be seen as significant as those in a clan.
