Administrators

As a leader of the forums, Administrators take up a lot of responsibilities around the forums which pertain to both roleplay and Out of Character activities in the Chatbox and Discord group. They are expected to maintain a steady amount of activity and bring members together, share ideas and enforce the rules. Their duties are listed below. Member names are based on discord usernames.

Members: Noella, Anubis, Cove


  • Welcome new members to the forums
  • Grant user groups to Character accounts
  • Skim biographies in the Auditions for completion and move them to proper placing afterwards
  • Keep forum database up to date
  • Ensure all images adhere to the dimension and image rating of PG-13
  • Delete, move, lock, unlock posts as requested by members
  • Assist members in the Guidance forum
  • Post announcements in proper forums under the "Sound the Horn" forum
  • Encourage post engagement with members
  • Handle rule breaking situations under wraps with additional staff members for a clean resolution
  • Communicate with other staff members about idea and suggestions to better the forums and roleplay
  • Communicate an absence with the Founders so they can work around appropriately
  • Supervise conversations in the chatbox and discord server
  • Manage roleplay threads to ensure they remain within the roleplay rating
  • Ensure thread labels are used effectively and appropriately
  • Supervise various activities around the forums which pertain to hunts, feasts, meetings, expeditions, etc


Moderators

Much like Administrators, Moderators look after the forums and members in the absence of Administrators. Many of their duties pertain to the forums and management of threads as opposed to things managed within the administration panel. There are opportunities of promotion to an Administrators should the opportunity arise.

Members: Closed


  • Welcome new members to the forums
  • Skim biographies in the Auditions for completion and move them to proper placing afterwards

Assistants

Assistants are a step down from Administrators or Moderators. They assist members with questions, engage others, and occasionally, if not more, share ideas to better the forum. Assistants can be any member with a willingness to grow the community.

  • Welcome new members to the forums
  • Assist members in the Guidance forum
  • Encourage post engagement with members
  • Communicate with other staff members about ideas and suggestions to better the forums and roleplay
  • Communicate an absence with the Founders so they can work around appropriately


Game Master

The Game Master assists with roleplay related tasks which include managing information in Ravens Market, select NPCs by member request(if desired, though members can still roleplay their own NPCs), and participating in events and other forum activities as well.

Members: Closed


  • Enact the role of Non-playable characters
  • Enact the role of obstacles and/or challenges during an Expedition, hunt or Jarl given tasks
  • Manage player Character Info Sheets
  • Manage Ravens Market
  • Oversee transactions of Silver/Tokens between characters and earnings after an Activity completion
  • Oversee Raffles
  • Oversee yearly Tournaments/Festivals
  • Oversee Meme Contests



Members do not need to be a part of a high rank in the roleplay to be a staff member. We ask that member not ask to be a staff member as existing staff will determine if and when a new member may be added to the team. No staff member is deemed to hold their entitled position forever. There may be a time when the founders may decide to update staff and give others a chance to show their skills in leadership. As a community we hold everyone together and it starts with a closely knit staff team with open ideas.
